Snooker and Billiards
The Uckfield Club Snooker Hall
Uckfield Club has had great success over the years with teams and individuals playing in the Lewes and District Billiards / Snooker League as well as the Hurst Green Billiards / Snooker League. We have also participated in and hosted County Snooker and Billiard matches and have produced several outstanding players over the years.
The Snooker room has 4 full size tables that are maintained to high quality of standard and are the envy of many clubs in
the south of the UK, with adequate comfortable seating for numerous players and guests for viewing purposes.
There are a number of club cues available in the room if you do not have your own, along with a choice of Snooker, Billiard
or Pool balls to use for your preferred game. All the other equipment necessary to play with is provided by the club.
Members and there guests are able to use the tables at any time, with the exception of when league nights and pre booked matches are taking place. We charge a nominal fee of £2 per token for half hours play, and these tokens are obtained from
the bar.
Our annual club competitions (members only) run from June to October each year, and the £1.00 nominal fee and registration takes place during April and May.
If you would like any further information with regards to our snooker facilities please contact the club manager.

COVID 19 UPDATE - USE OF SNOOKER TABLES - GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES (07/07/2020)
As we ease out of lockdown and start to enjoy some of our pastimes and hobbies once again, we are all to aware
that the Coronavirus threat is still amongst us, and we are as keen as the next business to ensure that this invisible
enemy is controlled at all times.
We have therefore imposed the following rules with regards to the use of the snooker tables and equipment
WHICH MUST BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMES.
Failure to comply with these rules will result in the closure of the snooker room….
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SOCIAL DISTANCE AT ALL TIMES
1. All snooker balls will be in a box on the table prior to use. These will have been sanitized and are ready for play.
2. If you are using your own cue, please DO NOT share it. Members requiring a club cue will collect one from
downstairs - £2.00 deposit payable (which will have been sanitised) and must be returned at the end of your session.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE IT IN THE SNOOKER ROOM FOR OTHERS TO PICK UP AND USE.
3. Nominate one player from your table to touch / re-spot ALL BALLS throughout the duration of your game.
The nominated player is the ONLY PLAYER TO HANDLE THE SNOOKER BALLS to avoid cross contamination.
4. Any rests or bridges used during your game need to be santised with the wipes provided EACH TIME THEY
ARE USED PLEASE (i.e. not at the end of your game)
5. At the end of your game, please sanitise / wipe each ball with the wipes provided and replace into the box ready
for the next players. Return any borrowed equipment to the bar staff.
6. We would strongly recommend that you purchase your own chalk from the bar, again to avoid any possible cross contamination.
These Government Guidelines will be monitored closely, and we thank you for co-operation and kind consideration
to fellow members…..
